A birth space is a sacred space and it's an honor and privilege to be invited into such an intimate moment of someone's life. Women should have complete control over who is invited into their birth space. Because of that, I offer free initial consultations prior to accepting clients. This is our time to get to know each other, discuss basic birth and pregnancy desires, and overall see if we "vibe". Not everyone has compatible energies or personalities. I get that. If we aren't a good fit, I'll happily refer you to other highly qualified birth doulas in the area.
The Complete Labor & Birth Package- Hospital
The Complete Labor & Birth Package is the most commonly selected package for first time birthers & encompasses the best aspects of hiring a birth doula for support. This package allows for maximum perinatal support, client/doula relationship building, birth & postpartum planning, and access to various childbirth and/or postpartum resources.
This includes:
- 24/7 email & phone support support from moment of hire through pregnancy & 6 weeks postpartum
-Access to growing lending library
- On-call for your birth starting at 38 weeks (unless medically indicated baby will arrive earlier)
-3 in-home prenatal visits (1.5 hours):
-28 weeks- Pregnancy focus -32 weeks- Birth focus -36 weeks- Postpartum focus
- Hands-on, continuous labor support starting when the birthing person asks for my arrival (typically active labor)
-Laboring with you at home before transferring to your birth location
-Access to TENS unit
-Physical, emotional, evidence-focused support based on your birth preferences
- Support for the birth companion
-relief from the support of birthing person
-guidance in how to support mom through various stages of labor progression
-knowledge in medical verbiage and how to advocate for mom

The Standard Labor & Birth Package- Hospital
The Standard Labor & Birth Package is the most commonly selected by, and cater more towards the needs and preferences, of pregnant people who have already given birth at least once. This package allows for debriefing previous birth experiences, perinatal support, client/doula relationship building, birth and postpartum planning, and access to various childbirth and/or postpartum resources.
This includes:
- 24/7 email & phone support from the moment of hire through the duration of your pregnancy and 6 weeks postpartum
-Access to growing lending library
- On-call for your birth starting at 38 weeks (unless medically indicated baby will arrive earlier)
-2 in-home prenatal visits (1.5 hours):

Just the Birth Package- Hospital
Just the Birth is a package offered to women who want the support of a birth doula during their birth experience, but for one reason or another, don't want prenatal or postpartum support. This package could fit your needs if you are hiring a doula late into your pregnancy or you have a thorough knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum on your own. This package is typically not offered for first time birthers.
This includes:
- 24/7 email & phone support support from moment of hire through the duration of your pregnancy and 6 weeks postpartum
-Access to growing lending library
- On-call for your birth starting at 38 weeks (unless medically indicated baby will arrive earlier)
-1 virtual prenatal visits to discuss birth preferences (1.5 hours) - Hands-on, continuous labor support starting when the birthing person asks for my arrival (typically active labor)

Everything but the Birth is a package offered as more of a birth coaching and postpartum preparation package. This package could fit your needs if you want assistance in informed decision-making & planning birth, assistance with comfort relief coaching for your support person, preparing for postpartum, & guidance in emotionally processing your birth experience after the birth.
This includes:
- 24/7 email & phone support support from the moment of hire through the duration of your pregnancy and 6 weeks postpartum

Payment
Typically, 50% of your total fee is due at contract signing to reserve your due time on my calendar. 25% is due at 28 weeks and 25% at the final prenatal appointment around 36 weeks. I am willing to work with you to set up a payment plan, barter or trade services, etc. Please don't let fear of payment stop you from hiring a doula for your birth!
I feel passionate about using my gifts, knowledge, and abilities to support birthing people. I also feel passionate and cannot ignore the gap in care for pregnant folks of color and the significant maternal and infant mortality rate for black mothers, especially right here in Franklin County.
In an effort to bridge the gap and use my white privilege to help protect the safety of BIPOC mothers, I offer pay-what-you-can services to all BIPOC pregnant people. If you identify as a person of color and would prefer a doula of color, I'm happy to provide referrals to fellow doula friends.
